Apple Watch missing Facebook app

PanARMENIAN.Net - Social media apps are among the biggest, so why is the Apple Watch missing the biggest one of all? When Tim Cook held an event for the latest wearable in March, the Apple boss showed a quick glimpse of the Facebook app, saying: "You can connect to social media." However, an app for the most popular social network on the planet is still yet to surface for the Apple Watch, Digital Spy reports.

Facebook has managed to get an Instagram app out on launch, so it's likely that a dedicated app for Facebook itself is still in development. But its absence hasn't gone unnoticed.

When approached by Mashable, Facebook vaguely responded: "We're excited for the launch of the Apple Watch. We have nothing to announce today, but we're always evaluating new platforms to build the best Facebook experience for people."
