IRANIAN REVOLUTION BEING PREPARED IN AZERBAIJAN, RUSSIAN PRESS CONSIDERS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Baku has become a peculiar bulwark for preparation the revolution in Iran after South Azerbaijan (situated in the northern part of Iran) National Renaissance Movement leader Mahmudali Chekhreganli's visit there last weekend. As reported by "Nezavisimaya Gazeta" Russian newspaper he is met in the headquarters of the Azeri parties with pomp and is paid great attention by the Baku mass media. The call "All for struggle against the Iranian regime" uttered by him gathers numerous supporters sharing the idea of creating an independent in the South Azerbaijan within frames of the federal Iran. Tehran press has already reacted to such unfriendly act in the neighbor state. Heydar Aliyev is playing with fire allowing Chekhreganli to call Iranian Azeris to the struggle against the constitutional government of Iran", - "The Iran news" writes. In this view the newspaper suggests official Tehran to break off diplomatic relation with Baku in order to kill the neighbor's desire to meddle in the internal affairs of Iran. Doubtlessly, "NG" newspaper writes, skilled strategist Chekhreganli takes into consideration the fact that the US has already announced Azerbaijan to be its ally in the struggle against the Iranian regime. On the other hand the movement aimed at the unification of South and North Azerbaijan is being activated. It is true that Baku authorities do not encourage such spirit but they do not impose strict bans either. In case with Mahmudali Chekhreganli everything is different: yesterday Baku repeated again and again that all what is happening in Iran is the internal business of this country, however today activation of the mojaheds of the South Azerbaijan National Renaissance Movement is obviously seen in Azerbaijan, the newspaper notes.
