"Fargo" comedy-crime drama series unveil Season 2 promo (video)

PanARMENIAN.Net - Summer is far from over, but FX already warns viewers about how chilly it would be when "Fargo" returns for a second season. The network has debuted the first promo for the new installment of the comedy-crime drama series, AceShowbiz reports.

Not sharing any actual footage from the show, the 20-second teaser shows a bird pecking on bark of a tree, while the sound of gun shoots are heard from the woods. The scenes set on a snowy landscape are accompanied with a caption which reads, "We're not out of the woods yet. Trouble returns to Fargo this fall on FX."

The second season of "Fargo" centers on young Lou Solverson (Patrick Wilson), a clean-cut Minnesota State Patrolman, four years after he's back from Vietnam, where he served in the Navy. He investigates a case involving a local crime gang and a major Mob syndicate.

It is set against "the cultural transformation that was going on" in the late 1970s as well as Ronald Reagan's first campaign for President of the United States. Bruce Campbell is cast as the 40th POTUS.

Other stars supporting the show are Ted Danson, Jeffrey Donovan, Cristin Milioti, Jean Smart, Nick Offerman, Brad Garrett and Kieran Culkin. The second season is set to premiere in the fall.
