Azerbaijani subversive groups attempted Friday, December 4 morning, to penetrate into the territory of Nagorno Karabakh in Talish direction of the contact line, Karabakh Defense Army press office reports.

Taking retaliatory measures, the Armenian troops managed to rebuff the attack, with Karabakh serviceman Erik Grigoryan, aged 20, lethally wounded.

An investigation into the details of the incident is currently underway.

According to the NKR Defense Ministry, 50 ceasefire violations by Azerbaijani armed forces were registered on the night of December 2-3, with over 1000 shots fired from various caliber artillery weapons.

The Azerbaijani army still continues violating the ceasefire with various caliber weapons, while Armenian troops take corresponding repressive actions to subdue the rival's attacks.
