Armenian troops repel 3 Azeri subversive groups

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani subversive groups took three unsuccessful attempts to cross the contact line with Nagorno Karabakh armed forces on the night of December 16-17.

Identifying the Azerbaijani groups on time, Karabakh Defense Army units took retaliatory measures, throwing the saboteurs back to their positions. No casualties were registered on the Armenian side.

While retreating, the rival left a number of special-purpose military items.

Meanwhile, Azerbaijani media outlets reported the death of Rashad Aliyar oglu Jafarzadeh.

Azerbaijani armed forces continuously violated the ceasefire on the contact line with Nagorno Karabakh on December 16-17.

According to the Karabakh Defense Ministry, 180 ceasefire violations by Azerbaijani armed forces were registered in the reporting period, with over 1800 shots fired from various caliber artillery weapons, 60-, 82- and 120-mm mortars, AGS-17 and RPG-7 grenade launchers.

Karabakh troops control the situation and retaliate in case of necessity.
