ARMENIAN PUBLIC PROSECUTOR OFFICE DENIED REPORTS ABOUT ARRESTED IN RUSSIA S. PETROSIAN'S PARTICIPATION IN ACT OF TERRORISM IN ARMENIAN PARLIAMENT

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian citizen Suren Petrosian being under the international investigation on the suspicion of a number of grave crimes was arrested in Saint Petersburg the other day. As reported by the Russian sources, the arrested man is suspected of the participation in the act of terrorism taken place in the Armenian parliament October 1999. 47-year-old S. Petrosian was detained in May and the decision for his extradition to Armenia was made the other day. Upon the arrest the law enforcement bodies found false documents he lived in Saint Petersburg with during the last four months. Meanwhile as reported to "Mediamax" agency by the press service of the Office of the Public Prosecutor of Armenia, Suren Pertosian does not concern the act of terrorism in the Armenian parliament.
