Foals reveal new song, “Rain”

PanARMENIAN.Net - Foals have revealed a brand new song, 'Rain', ahead of Record Store Day, Gigwise said.

The band are releasing a double A-side 7" vinyl to mark the event, which takes place on 17 April, and it'll contain previously unreleased track 'Rain', alongside a cover of Mark Ronson's Daffodil's. On March 9, they revealed 'Rain' online ahead of its physical release.

The song's melody, backed by simple organ chords, swims through many layers of reverb and a quietly shimmering synth sound.

Elsewhere on the list of releases for Record Store Day are the likes of David Bowie, Nirvana, The Who, The Weeknd and Manic Street Preachers. Read the full list of releases here.

Meanwhile, Foals are set to co-headline Reading and Leeds festivals this summer, alongside Disclosure.
