Kim Kardashian, JK Rowling among Most Influential People on the Internet

Time Magazine has released its annual 30 Most Influential People on the Internet list, and some of social media's most prolific users are sitting pretty on there, Digital Spy said.

“Kim Kardashian West has made the list - probably for all the times she's tried to 'break the internet' - as well as husband Kanye for all his baffling tweets, no doubt.

It will come as no surprise to see Queen of Twitter JK Rowling on there.

Frequently updating fans on the comings and goings of the Wizarding world, tackling evil in the Muggle world and generally being awesome to fans, has ensured she made the list.

James Corden's time as host of The Late Late Show has given him a large internet following - partly thanks to segment Carpool Karaoke.

He's had the likes of One Direction, Justin Bieber and Elton John in his car for a singsong - with Adele's appearance currently holding a YouTube record of over 86 million hits.

Caitlyn Jenner has also made Time's list following her transition and subsequent campaigns for transgender rights, while Drake, Donald Trump and Cristiano Ronaldo also made the cut,” Digital Spy said.
