Azeri force concentration more massive than that of April: military

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan continues army redeployments along the line of contact with Nagorno Karabakh, the latest concentration of troops being more massive than that of the early April, a spokesperson for Armenia's Defense Ministry said Tuesday, May 3.

Artsrun Hovhannisyan declined to give further details on Azeri moves, however, noting that the Armenian intelligence keeps all the developments in focus.

Also, Hovhannisyan refuted the rumors on mobilization in Armenia, adding that “a corresponding statement will be issued in case such a decision is made.”

Further commenting on the situation, the spokesperson advised against discussing information on losing or regaining control over some military positions.

“You would thus help the military a lot,” Hovhannisyan said.

According to him, currently there are no exact reports as to how much territory Armenia lost in the course of the clashes in early April.
