Hard to compromise with country that violates int’l obligations: Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - President Serzh Sargsyan in an interview with the Vatican Radio said that it is difficult to understand how to compromise over the Nagorno Karabakh conflict with a country that has violated its international obligations.

“Prior to the hostilities in April, we were prone to solving the issue through compromise,” he said.

The President stressed at the same time that the peaceful settlement of the conflict has no alternative.

“I am nevertheless confident we must find the best solution possible,” Sargsyan said.

“I mean the best not for Azerbaijan or Armenia, but for the people of Karabakh.”
