Armenia to host international chess conference Sept 30- Oct 3![]() June 29, 2016 - 15:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The international conference Theoretical and Practical Issues of Chess Education in Schools will be held in Armenia's Tsaghkadzor from September 30 to October 3, the chess federation said Wednesday, June 29. The event is organized by the Chess Academy of Armenia and the Ministry of Education and Science. The conference will host discussions on five topics – chess education and personality development, socio-psychological aspects of chess education, issues of preparation and training of chess teachers, technological and methodological aspects of chess education, chess and practice of inclusive education. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
