Leading Russian firms to take part in ArmHiTec-2016 defense exhibit

PanARMENIAN.Net - Leading defense industry companies from Armenia, Russia and a number of other countries will participate in ArmHiTec-2016, the first-ever International Exhibition of Arms and Defense Technology.

The event will be held on November 1-3 at Exhibition Complex YrevanEXPO in Yerevan, Armenia.

Armenia’s Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan and general manager of Exhibition Companies Group “Bizon” Sergey Marichev discussed the details of the exhibition at a meeting in Moscow.

National Defense and Security Contest and a host of other competitions will be held on the sidelines of the event.

The exhibition will feature, in particular, armored equipment, artillery, aviation, air defense equipment, engineering machinery, chemical defense equipment, UAVs, robotics, military uniforms, communication and laser technologies among other things.

The exhibition is organized as an integrated complex of exhibition and business events in order to demonstrate to potential customers high-tech, innovative developments and ready solutions in the field of modern weapons, military equipment and technologies, as well as the needs of the Armenian Armed Forces in the respective materiel, products and services of general purpose. The event aims to promote the modernization and technical re-equipment of the Armed Forces, security agencies and law enforcement bodies of Armenia, increasing their combat capability and efficiency, as well as to ensure possibilities of studying the achievements of up-to-date international military-technical developments and solutions.
