Parliamentarian elections in Armenia: 5 parties overpassed 5-percent barrier

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to the latest information provided by the CEC of Armenia, five political forces, including Republican Party of Armenia, ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" extraparliamentary pro-governmental "Prosperous Armenia", as well as opposition parties "Orinats Yerkir" and extraparliamentary "Heritage" overpassed the 5-percent barrier in the parliamentarian elections of Armenia. United Labor Party is also close to the barrier. At 13:00 local time (12:00 Moscow time) the CEC published the following interim results of tabulation:



Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) (leader Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan) - 428 120



"Prosperous Armenia" Party (leader - businessman, MP Gagik Tsarukyan)-189 580



ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" - 165 464



"Orinats Yerkir" Party (leader is ex-Speaker Arthur Baghdasaryan) - 87 752



"Heritage" Party (leader is ex-Foreign Minister Raffi Hovhannisyan) - 68 601



United Labor Party (leader - MP Gourgen Arsenian) - 54 688



Other political forces are still far away from the 5-percent barrier, IA Regnum reports.
