Tsaghkadzor  among Russian tourists' favorite ski resorts

PanARMENIAN.Net - During the coming New Year holiday season, Armenia’s Tsaghkadzor will be among the five most popular mountain ski resorts for Russian tourists within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and countries neighboring Russia, RoomGuru.ru reports.

The rating is based on hotel reservation and accommodation data for New Year holidays from December 30, 2016 to January 8, 2017.

Besides the Armenian resort town of Tsaghkadzor, the top ten also includes Chimbulak (Kazakhstan), Gudauri (Georgia), Lahoysk (Belarus), Shakhdag (Azerbaijan), Bakuriani (Georgia), Bukovel (Ukraine), Chimgan (Uzbekistan), Karakol (Kyrgyzstan) and Silichi (Belarus).

According to TourStat analysis agency, in 2016 demand for winter travel in the CIS among Russian tourists grew by 15% year-on-year.

RoomGuru.ru (HotelsCombined) has been recognized the best hotel search resource throughout the last three years, according to World Travel Awards.
