The document first signed in 2000 will be extended for another seven years. Under the agreement, the parties will prevent the spread of nuclear weapons, as well as directly related materials, technology and knowledge, chemical and biological weapons. To support the initiative, the United States will provide Armenia with equipment and technologies, as well as advice, if necessary.
