Italy positive about visa liberalization between Armenia and EU: FM

PanARMENIAN.Net - Italy feels generally positive about the issue of visa liberalization between Armenia and the European Union, Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni said Tuesday, November 8.

"I'm aware that the Government of Armenia and the EU have agreed to hold periodic meetings on the matter," Gentiloni told a joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian in Yerevan.

"Head of EU diplomacy Federica Mogherini is also working in this direction."

He added that the Union appeals to the peoples of neighboring countries because of the history of the EU's success.
