Accordingly, spending on defense forces will amount to AZN 1.269 billion or some $745 million. Also, around $65.5 million will be allocated to the national security service, 1.5 million to research in the sphere of security, and some $738 million will be allotted to other expenditures, Haqqin.az reports. Armenia's state budget for 2017, on the other hand, envisages to spend $440 million on the defense sector.
