According to the source, currently economic and political aspects of this issue are under examination. President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus is an active participant of all GUAM summits, which in itself speaks about Lithuania's high interest towards that organization. Most probably issues concerning Lithuania's close cooperation with GUAM will be discussed during Azeri President Ilham Aliev's official visit to Lithuania this autumn.
