Top Armenian, Spanish diplomats talk visa liberalization with EU![]() December 9, 2016 - 18:28 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Thursday, December 8 met with his Spanish counterpart Alfonso Dastis to discuss the visa liberalization deal with the European Union. A session of the OSCE Foreign Ministers Council was held in Hamburg, Germany on Thursday. At the meeting, Nalbandian stressed the importance of developing bilateral ties between the two countries. Also, the diplomats dwelled upon the new framework agreement expected to be signed between Armenia and the EU, as well as the possible visa waiver program. Besides, Nalbandian briefed the Spanish diplomat on the latest development in the process of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, as well as Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group's efforts aimed at pushing the talks forward. At the end of the meeting, Nalbandian invited Dastis to Armenia to continue discussing the bilateral agenda. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
