  RA Defense Minister praised Armenian peacekeepers activityApril 21, 2008 - 19:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian peacekeepers in Kosovo and Iraq perform their mission with honor and high morale inherent in each Armenian soldier, says a statement issued by RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan. Minister Ohanyan appreciated highly the activity of the Armenian peacekeepers within Polish, Greek and U.S. battalions, the Minister's spokesman, colonel Seyran Shahsuvaryan told PanAPMENIAN.Net. "Peacekeeping forces are essential all over the world. I am confident that you will uphold the honor of the Armenian soldier and will serve as an example of discipline and professionalism," the statement says. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
