Baltic States' European integration experience may be useful for Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - New appointed Lithuania's Ambassador to Armenia Gedrus Apuokas handed credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan, the RA leader's press office reported.



Welcoming the guest, President Sargsyan noted that Armenia intends to establish Embassy in Lithuania. "Our countries enjoy friendly and partner relations but economic cooperation should be encouraged," he said.



Highlighting cooperation within the ENP, the Armenian President said that the Baltic States have rich experience in European integration, what can be useful for Armenia. He appreciated highly Lithuania's willingness to hold consultations to promote implementation of reforms in various fields.



For his part, the Ambassador pledged to do his best for further development of bilateral ties.
