Seismic Service refutes reports on looming earthquake in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Ministry of Emergency Situations has refuted media publications alleging that a major earthquake will hit Armenia in the near future.

According to the Seismic Protection Territorial Service, there is no basis for disseminating such information.

The Ministry says such news stories emerge on the Internet quite often to spread panic among the public.

The report says recent developments also resulted in a vast improvement in citizens’ perception of corruption.
The WikiLeaks papers revealed more than 16,000 procurement requests by U.S. embassies around the globe.
The paper concluded the piece with the words "Shnorhavorum em!" which stands for "Congratulations" in Armenian.
