Armenian Opposition National Congress formed

PanARMENIAN.Net - From 5 to 7 thousand supporters of the Armenian opposition took the streets in Yerevan today to join a regular unauthorized rally at Matenadaran, the Depository of Ancient Manuscripts.



The demonstrators demanded investigation into the March 1 events and release of arrested oppositionists.



A declaration on formation of Armenian Opposition National Congress was also signed.



Today's rally was preceded by an uninterrupted sit-in of opposition supporters in the center of Yerevan.
