Russian State Duma expert Viktor Sheinis told "Arminfo" agency about it. In his words, the forces resisting to the international recognition of NKR are still rather strong, and in the near future their opposition will be hard to overcome. But in his opinion, the most important thing is that the Nagorno Karabakh Republic really exists, tens of thousands people are protected and live worthy lives. "This is the reason why I would not overestimate the significance of the international recognition of NKR, as it is connected not so much with some efforts of the Karabakh party and its friends, but with the principle of inviolability of borders and other factors, which are frequently turned into fetish," - the Russian politician noted.
