US SENATE APPROVED PROGRAM OF MILITARY COOPERATION WITH ARMENIA FOR 2003

PanARMENIAN.Net - US Senate has approved the program of military cooperation with Armenia for 2003. Armenian defense minister Serge Sargsian reported it today. In his words, the program for 2003 "is practically similar with the one for this year." As far as the realization of the current program is concerned, in the minister's words, its educational component has already been started and a group of Armenian officers is in US. "The negotiations on fulfilling the remaining part of the cooperation program dealing with improvement of the means of army communication is at its final stage and I think its realization will begin this year," - S.Sargsian said.
