Armenia: Covid-19 infections grow by 158 as 217 recover

PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Armenia grew by 158 to reach 42,477 on Friday, August 21 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry.

Fresh figures also revealed that 217 more people have recovered, six patients have died from Covid-19, while two others carrying the virus have died from other causes in the past 24 hours.

A total of 1639 tests have been performed in the past day, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 35,693 people have recovered, 842 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 253 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
