Armenia, Russia sign deal on modernization of four Su-25 jets![]() August 24, 2020 - 12:47 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan and Moscow have signed a new agreement which will see the modernization of four Su-25 jets. According to a report from the embassy of Yerevan in Russia, Armenian Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan and Armenian ambassador to Moscow Vardan Toganyan attended the ceremony. Tonoyan also met with Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu to discuss the situation in the region. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington. The CSTO budget for the current year requires adjustments due to the refusal of Yerevan to pay their share of contributions. Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees.
