Russia says ready to discuss supply more Su-30 fighters to Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia is ready to discuss with Armenia the supply of another batch of generation 4+ Su-30SM fighter jets, Interfax reports citing the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSVTS) of Russia.

FSVTS official representative Maria Vorobyova said they are working with the Armenian side on the matter.

"The purchase of aircraft will be discussed if the Armenian side confirms its interest," Vorobyova said.

After buying four Su-30SM fighters in 2019, Armenia has signalled plans to purchase more aircraft from Russia.

As reported earlier, Yerevan and Moscow have signed a new agreement which will see the modernization of four Su-25 jets.
