ARMENIAN GENOCIDE MEMORIAL AND MUSEUM PLANNED TO BE BUILT IN WASHINGTON

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian genocide museum and memorial is planned to be built in Washington. As the Armenian Assembly of America reports, the other day the initiative group engaged in the foundation of the Memorial started the search for architectural team for the construction realization. "Concord Partners", a Washington-based firm specializing in the planning, development and construction of significant cultural facilities, has been contracted to develop criteria for the architect selection process. "The Armenian Genocide Museum and Memorial will be a landmark building in our nation's capital, located as it is just two blocks from the White House. So our goal is to find the best qualified architectural team for this first-ever Genocide museum and memorial outside Armenia," Ros Vartian, the AGMM Director of Planning stated.
