Armenia: Active Covid cases drop below 5000 for first time in three months

PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of confirmed coronavirus infection in Armenia grew by 175 to reach 43626 on Saturday, August 29 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry. Active cases, meanwhile, have dropped below 5000 for the first time since May 27.

Fresh figures also revealed that 299 more people have recovered, while three patients have died from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.

A total of 1726 tests have been performed in the pat day, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 37,563 people have recovered, 872 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 266 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
