Armenia President in Brussels to meet NATO, EU chiefs![]() October 21, 2020 - 11:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has left for Brussels for the meetings with the EU and NATO leaderships, his office said Wednesday, October 21. Sarkissian will present first-hand information about Azerbaijani-Turkish terrorist aggression against Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), and war crimes committed by them. The President is scheduled to meet NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, European Council President Charles Michel, among others. Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
