Day.az portal sold, purchasers not known

PanARMENIAN.Net - Day.az and Today.az projects have been sold.

"The decision was made by the project founder and I am not aware of details," editor-in-chief Elnur Bayimov said.

"It's not known whether the staff will remain intact," he added, the Azeri Press Agency reports.

Day.az and Today.az suspended activity on February 18. A notification posted on the front page said that the work will be resumed on February 25. However, it turned out later that the project was sold. Project founder, MP Anar Mamedhanov said the tie-up is due to technical reasons.
