Armenia offers amnesty to draft dodgers![]() April 8, 2021 - 12:26 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The government has announced an amnesty for men who avoided military service, giving them a chance to return to Armenia without facing punishment. The draft proposal approved by the Cabinet on Thursday, April 7 is envisaged for men above the age of 27. Criminal cases against them will be terminated as soon as the parliament OKs the legislation and the president signs it. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
