Pope Francis sends medical aid to Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Pope Francis has donated an ambulance and medical supplies to Armenia to help the country fight the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, Vatican News reports.

The materials were blessed during a ceremony at the Ordinariate of Armenian Catholics in Yerevan on Sunday, April 25 morning. In addition to the Catholic community of the city, also attending the event were the Apostolic Nuncio, Monsignor José A. Bettencourt, and Father Mario Cuccarollo, the director of Redemptoris Mater, a Catholic hospital in the town of Ashotsk

The new ambulance inaugurated on Sunday is equipped with modern mobile medical equipment and emergency units necessary for patients with coronavirus.
