EU, Azerbaijan discuss Karabakh assistance, bilateral ties

PanARMENIAN.Net - EU Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi has discussed the European Union's assistance to Nagorno-Karabakh and EU-Azerbaijan relations with Hikmet Hajiyev, an Assistant to Azerbaijani President and Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration.

It was reported earlier that the European Commission is delivering on its pledge to contribute an additional €10 million in humanitarian aid, including some very early recovery to help civilians affected by the recent conflict in and around Nagorno Karabakh.

According to a tweet posted by Varhelyi, the sides have also discussed post-Covid economic recovery and the potential of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline project.
