Turkish-Armenian MP congratulates Pashinyan on winning the polls

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish lawmaker of Armenian descent from the pro-Kurdish People's Democratic Party (HDP) Garo Paylan on Monday, June 21 congratulated caretaker Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his party for their victory in the snap parliamentary elections.

"I congratulate Nikol Pashinyan and his party on gaining a majority at the parliamentary elections and the right to form a government in Armenia," Paylan said on Twitter.

Pashinyan’s Civil Contract party won 53.92% of the vote, while Hayastan (Armenia) bloc headed by second President Robert Kocharyan secured 21.4% of the ballots. "I Have Honor" bloc too will get seats in the parliament.
