Hollande, Armenian envoy discuss Nagorno-Karabakh in Paris

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's ambassador to Paris Hasmik Tolmajian met with former French President François Hollande on Thursday, July 1 to discuss the situation in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, Tolmajian said in a tweet.

"I expressed my deep gratitude for the strong support to Armenia and the Armenian people, as well as the strengthening of relations between Armenia and France," the envoy wrote.

French leader Emmanuel Macron has supported Armenia's territorial integrity in the wake of Azerbaijan's incursion into Armenia. France also reported Turkey's deployment of mercenaries to Azerbaijan and has been repeatedly calling for a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
