Armenia reports over 700 Covid-19 cases for first time since April![]() September 11, 2021 - 11:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 731 to reach 248,397 on Saturday, September 11 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry. The last time new daily cases surpassed 700 was in late April. Fresh figures also revealed that 635 more people recovered, 16 patients died from Covid-19, while three others carrying the virus died from other causes in the past 24 hours. A total of 6511 tests have been performed in the past day, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said. So far, 232,041 people have recovered, 4995 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 1173 others carrying the virus have died from other causes. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
