Armenia assumes CSTO chairmanship

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia assumed the chairmanship of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) on Thursday, September 16.

At the end of the expanded meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, on behalf of his country and himself, congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and wished him fruitful activity.

The next meetings of the Councils of Foreign and Defense Ministers of the CSTO member states and the Committee of Secretaries of the CSTO Security Councils will be held in Armenia in the first half of 2022.
