Azerbaijani troops open fire on tractor working in rural Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani troops on Tuesday, November 9 opened fire on a working tractor, which was being used by a resident of the village of Khachik in Armenia's Vayots Dzor province, town chief Hovik Smbatyan has confirmed, according to Sputnik Armenia.

"The tractor driver miraculously survived, he was not injured. Only the tractor was damaged by the shots," said Smbatyan. According to him, the Azeri forces most probably used firearms to target the villager.

One Armenian civilian was killed, three others were injured when the Azerbaijani military opened fire on locals working on water pipes on a junction near the town of Shushi on November 8, the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) National Security Service reports. Another civilian was killed in Azerbaijan's fire on October 9.
