Armenia denounces Azerbaijan's practice of spreading disinformation![]() February 24, 2022 - 13:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Defense Ministry has denounced Azerbaijan's "practice of periodically spreading disinformation" about the situation on the border between the two countries. For several days now, Baku has been disseminating information about alleged ceasefire violations from Armenia, the last such report claiming that the Armenian troops opened fire on Azeri posts in the southeastern section of the border on February 23 evening. "The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia once again calls on the Azerbaijani side to refrain from spreading obviously false information on the border situation," the Armenian side said on February 24. "The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable and is under the full control of the Armenian Armed Forces." ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
