Azerbaijan continues shelling Karabakh settlements![]() March 11, 2022 - 18:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan continues shelling civilian settlements in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), using mortars in the process, Karabakh's Interior Ministry reports. According to the Armenian side, three shells were fired towards the village of Khnapat, while two others landed near Purukh, another settlement. No casualties have been reported. The Azerbaijanis have been attempting to make Karabakh residents flee their villages in the past several weeks now. A civilian was injured in Azerbaijan's shooting from across the contact line on Thursday, the Karabakh police said. The man identified as Suren Baghdasaryan (b. 1971) sustained a back injury when doing agricultural work after a shell exploded in his backyard. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
