A patient in Nagorno-Karabakh who was in critical condition has died amid Azerbaijan's blocking of the Lachin Corridor that connects Karabakh to Armenia.
According to the executive director of the Republican Medical Center, Mher Musayelyan, that patient, who has been on hemodialysis for 15 years, should have had access for another check-up.
Musayelyan noted that the man who was born in 1960 was taken to Yerevan's Nork-Marash cardiology hospital, where he was supposed to be operated on.
At the moment, 92 patients are receiving inpatient treatment at the Stepanakert Republican Hospital, 11 patients are in the intensive care unit, 4 of them are in critical condition.
For several days now, the key road has been blocked by Azerbaijanis who claim to be environmentalists. Azerbaijan had also deprived the people of Karabakh of gas supplies.”
