Top Karabakh official suspects Lavrov not

PanARMENIAN.Net - Nagorno-Karabakh State Minister Ruben Vardanyan suspects that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov may not be "fully informed" about what was happening in the region.

In an interview with RBC, Vardan wighed in on appreciated Yerevan's refusal to participate in a trilateral meeting on Karabakh in Moscow, which was announced by Lavrov.

Vardanyan said that it was "the decision of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and, probably, the Prime Minister of Armenia."

"This is their decision. I think it would be better if they conveyed their position, including on the Karabakh situation, to Sergei Viktorovich Lavrov, who, it seems to me, was not fully informed about what was happening here and who refused to make any decisions," the State Minister added.

For almost two weeks now, the key road has been blocked by Azerbaijanis who claim to be environmentalists. Azerbaijan had also deprived the people of Karabakh of gas supplies.
