Romanian Senate President wants to strengthen parliamentary dialogue with Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - President of the Romanian Senate, Alina Gorghiu, believes that Romania and Armenia should strengthen parliamentary dialogue, Gorghiu wrote on Twitter Monday, April 3

"Meeting with Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan in the Senate of Romania. Romania and Armenia should strengthen the parliamentary dialogue. We have discussed steps towards this. I am glad that the gender quota works in Armenia," Gorghiu capioned a photo with the Armenian diplomat.

The politician also expressed satisfaction that 36% of lawmakers in the Armenian parliament are women.

Mirzoyan is on a working visit to Romania on April 3-4. During the trip, he has already met with other high-ranking officials, including representatives of the legislative bodies of Romania.
