Celik made the remarks at a press conference on Monday, November 27, adding that Turkey wants the ongoing discussions between Azerbaijan and Armenia to lead to a peace agreement. If Armenia ceases its “destructive steps”, he said, the 3+3 cooperation format – that involved Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey, Iran and, possibly Georgia – will make a “great contribution to peace in the region". ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit.
