U.S. encourages Armenia, Azerbaijan to reach durable agreement

PanARMENIAN.Net - The United States encourages Armenia and Azerbaijan to try to reach a durable, lasting agreement, Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State Matthew Miller told a briefing in Tuesday, February 27.

Miller made the remarks when asked whether expected meetings between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Berlin on February 28-29 signaled the end of the Washington process spearheaded by Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

“I don’t have any announcements to make, but we continue to encourage both sides to try to reach a durable, lasting agreement,” Miller added.
