Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and mercenaries sent by Ankara, launched a large-scale offensive against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27, 2020. The war lasted 44 days. According to a report from Anadolu Agency, Erdogan said during an election rally in Istanbul on Friday, March 29 that Turkey successfully handled challenges in Syria, Somalia, and Karabakh, it is also endeavouring to confront the "trial of Gaza with dignity."
