Armenian, Iranian foreigh policy chief talk over the phone

PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 29, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone conversation with Ali Bagheri, the Acting Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Following the visit of the delegation of the Prime Minister of Armenia to Tehran on May 22, the Foreign Minister of Armenia once again expressed condolences to his counterpart on the death of the President of Iran, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the persons accompanying them and expressed his solidarity.

The two emphasized that the neighborly ties between the two countries and peoples are deep and strong and will be consistent. Ararat Mirzoyan and Ali Bagheri touched upon the bilateral and regional agenda, stressing the mutual willingness to implement the agreements reached so far and ensure the continuity of current projects.

The Iranian side expressed its condolences and support regarding the human casualties and damages caused by the recent floods in the Tavush and Lori regions of the Republic of Armenia.
