French envoy travels to Armenia’s Syunik

PanARMENIAN.Net - French ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies visited the town of Goris in the country’s southern Syunik province on Friday, June 21.

Decottignies and Goris mayor Arush Arushanyan toured the town and discussed cooperation between the two countries.

Later in the day, Goris hosted the Music Festival organized by the Institut Français.

The French diplomat earlier visited Sisian. According to him, his trip to the “strategic and vulnerable” province of Syunik seeks to tackle a few matters: security and humanitarian situation, decentralized collaboration and agricultural development
